Our History
Delhi Bible Fellowship began as a house church in 1968. TEAM missionary Murray Carter desired to plant a Bible believing church in South Delhi which could be a potential home church for the people living in the area and also be a unifying influence for a number of evangelical organisations operating without a strong local church support. DBF's first English service was held in Pastor Carter's living room in Nizamuddin, on the second Sunday of December, 1968, which later moved to Hotel Vikram in 1972. Later, this fellowship, under God's grace and direction, grew and planted other churches so that there are currently 17 DBF congregations/worship services across Delhi and NCR. In this process of growth, after much prayer, Pastor Anand Abraham took it upon himself to start a congregation of DBF in Noida, which started meeting for Sunday worship services on 18th April, 2010. Since the time of its birth, the congregation has grown in numbers and in maturity, owing to the work of God's Spirit primarily through faithful preaching and teaching of God's word, and through strong bonds of fellowship. Currently DBF Noida meets at NMA House in sector 62, at 10:00 am every Sunday.
